I just want to know how many people have gone through the motions with the 360 like I have. I had to send it back to the manufacturer twice both times it took forever to get my System back. Both times it was because of the laser I’m pretty sure something as simple as dust probably, I admit I played the hell out of it but still..that’s what your supposed to do with a $ 400 “Gaming System” right? Not with an X-box you don’t, it wont last for long it will need repair..all my friends have X-Box 360′s and they have gone through the same thing..My soon to be brother in-law had to send his back twice because it wouldn’t read any discs, it happened a 3rd time and when he tried to send it in again they wouldn’t take it..said warranty was up..he had it just about 2 years..now he’s just assed out with a broken system..I got out while the getting was still good since I’d already sent mine in twice for repair I knew it was only a matter of time before it stopped working again.I took it to Gamestop with all the 360 games I’d bought and traded it all for a brand new out the box PS3 and a few pre-owned PS3 games..I have no regrets..I should have gotten the PS3 from the start but I can honestly say now because I was able to compare games that the PS3 is far superior to the X-Box 360 MGS4 alone crushes all X-Box games..no competition its a wrap..and Playstation Home online community is amazing..X-Box can only dream of doing something like that X-Box gives you an avatar that does nothing but sit there when you are able to use it..it’s just something to look at thats all..PS3 your avatar can do all kinds of stuff from bowling to flying an airplane,race car driving,poker,Mysteries to solve,even a town square where people can meet with friends and dance.you can buy your own properties or clothes at the mall, check out the movie theater or the haunted house game, throw parties for your friends and so much more I barely scratched the surface. If your thinking of getting a gaming system and your down to two choices PS3 or X-Box 360, Trust me GET A PS3! (PS3) Blue Ray Player is the future (X-Box360) HD player will be obsolete. and even if you don’t have many PS3 games you can still do tons of things online for “free” that are just as much fun. I have quite a few games but I spend more time in Playstation Home than I do playing my games there’s so much to do you just get caught up and before you know it hours have gone by and you haven’t even played the game you turned on the system to play in the first place yet. Question : Xbox 360 or Wii which should I buy?
This summer I want to get a game system but I’m completely unsure of which to get and since either the Xbox or Wii are both around $ 200 I can only afford to get one of them and probably won’t be able to get the other for very long and by the time I can afford the other one the new platform will be out for either 360 or Wii. So I’m a 19 year old girl. I’m very active and Wii Fit and Wii sports are appealing and I love them. Especially Sports Resort. I think those are the main games I’d play on Wii but I would love to get Guitar Hero and Rock Band too. Xbox seems a little more involved for me. I’m not too great at FPS games and shooting games like COD but I would like to try COD and see if it’s fun because I have friends and my boyfriend are obsessed. Other than COD Xbox seems to have more adult games. I just don’t know if I’d have as much fun with it or not. I would like shooting games but I would suck. Any suggestions?

Let me explain, Ive known this guy for 6 years and everything else i let him borrow never broke. I let him borrow my xbox 360 wensday and today is saturday and he took a trip to Alabama (we live in neworleans) to see his cousin so he told me he would leave my xbox with his cousin so i could pick it up later so i went to pick it up today his other cousin that lives with him gave me the xbox (it looked fine) i go home sit the xbox 360 on my dresser and then hop on the laptop. i get bored of the laptop turn on the 360 and the red ring of death (3 rings) 3 rings is system failure btw and before i let him borrow it it was perfectly fine. I go to his house and ask his cousin to call him because he kept ignoring my calls and i know he was because his phone is on and i called and it stopped ringing immediatly i go to his cousin and his cousin calls him and he awnsers the phone (wtf) he tells me i should send it into fking microsoft and i dont have a warranty on it anymore what should i do? btw he let me use his laptop and his laptops PERFECTLY fine and the laptops his school laptop im thinking about keeping it and letting him get in trouble at school if he doesnt pay me back then im going to kick his *** what do you think i should do?

H mm that’s kind of a problem there. um sometimes if you unplug your X box for a bit not sure how long a day or two it fixes. i don’t think he broke it on purpose because unless he opened it up and screwed it.i think you can buy another warranty depending on what store its from

ok so my friend pulled the ethernet cable and my 360 came flying down (from about 2 ft)
the disk thing was open and its not turning on. i was like CRAP. I bought it about a week ago and i purchased the 50 extra warranty. will they cover it and what do u think i should say to them…i came home and it wouldnt turn on? (oh and when u shake it it rattles.

Question : Game X Change Xbox 360 return?
So like a year ago, I bought a $ 400 dollar Xbox 360 Elite from Game X Change in Fayetteville, Arkansas. When I took it home, it worked for a couple of days and got the “red ring of death”. I told my mom, but she never took it back. Now, one year later, i’m wondering:

Can I use the towel trick to temporarily fix the Xbox 360? Because if I can, then I’d tell them that it works fine and I’d trade it in. If you didn’t know, Game X Change requires games and game consoles to be running one hour after you give it to them to insure that it functions properly. I have a feeling that somebody did this to me, thats why it messed up when I got it. The warranty on the 360 is void as well.

So do you think that doing this would work?
