Question : Moving to Arizona but will be working in CA.? I am moving to Arizona but will be still employed by a CA company. I will be working from home (AZ) on Mondays and Fridays. Tuesdays to Thursday, I will be working in our California office. Is there any law that I am violating? Do I need to file state tax on both places for next year? arizona moving company

Answer by zeuzYou need to check AZ tax rules. I suspect you will be considered an AZ resident, which may require you to pay income tax to AZ.

Also, you will have to pay tax to CA even as a non-resident of CA.

Question : Do you get tips working as a server in a retirement home/center? I was just wondering if you still get tipped if you are working as a server in a retirement home/center. Since seniors pay for rooms,etc on a monthly basis and usually meals are part of that, do they just have a choice of like 1 meal 1 appetizer and 1 dessert, meaning then they don’t need to tip or anything like that?
