I am from Texas and we don’t really have winter (our normal clothes/shoes work pretty much all year round). I am a style-conscious woman who wants to make sure I look cute and not out of place. First you should check a week before going the weather forecast for the area that you will be staying, that will help you do your packing.
You should always travel with comfortable shoes, remember that it is winter in that time of the year.
You should pack waterproof shoes you could get a pair of nice leather boots, a nice coat that can be used day and night, an umbrella is always useful, scarfs, a pair of gloves and some hats. Try to dress in layers so when you go inside you don´t get really hot or cold.

Question : My homeowner’s warranty insurance is not covering my garbage disposal due to not wear and tear, please help?
I am so mad at my insurance company. This is the second time I’ve had a wor order that they have refused to cover while still charging me a fee to come out. Last time when I had a problem with my toilet they said it was improperly installed and refused to repair/replace it. This time I am told the broken switch that resets the garbage disposal was either improperly installed or used with excessive force. when it was properly installed based on the fact that it has been working for 2 years, and nobody in the household forced it at any time.

I had a nasty conversation wtih the manager at the insurance company who was a biii*** and didn’t care one bit if I canceled all of my policies. If I call another plumber out who finds it is due to regular wear/tear, they will not reimburse me for the original fee of the wrong diagnosis nor for the plumber I send out!! They will cover if they send one of their plumbers out again, but if he finds the same fault (which likely he will based on the track record) I will then get stuck with paying for both visits. It’s either me lying – that somebody forced the switch, or their worker who conveniently makes that excuse, and I am so so so so mad. Any advice??

I would cancel that warranty insurance and just pay for repairs out of pocket. Sometimes you need to spend the money just to avoid the frustration. Besides you are losing a day’s pay everytime you wait for their repairman

I have to ask this one again due to a little “across the pond” miscommunication regarding temperature units. . .

My 6 month old wears a grobag to bed. At the moment the nursery temperature is 20 degrees celsius, and drops down to about 18 overnight. The official grobag website says she should just be wearing a longsleeved bodysuit with bare legs under it, but that really doesnt seem enough to me. But now I’m afraid to put more layers on her encase i cause her to overheat. If you use a grobag or any other type of baby sleeping bag, what does your baby wear under it?

I am making custom jewelry for my boyfriends sister and it is $100. 000 in materials. It is Arora Borialis Austiran Crystals and Sterling. She wanted a necklace, earings and a bracelet. My boyfriend is shocked. I am giving it as an extra gift she is already getting Nambe wear from us too. My boyfriend thinks this wedding jewelry is too expensive, but I told him these materials are very expensive. I did not have time to mail order, but I did buy wholesale. What do you think? How much did you spend and what did you buy for your wedding jewelry? She had me match her hair accessory this is how I came to this design.

Do you think this is too much? I bet people pay a great deal more.

I would like to get rid of the majority, but can not sell it through the various auction / marketplace sites (for obvious reasons). Does anyone have any suggestions for ways to use body jewelry and unloading may make some cash at the same time?
