I took or “tried” to take a trip to Denver this summer b/c I wanted to get away #1 & #2 I want to move out of Houston AND TX. TO make a long story short I got sick to my stomach after being there for two hours & ended being sick and recuperating for the entire 5 days. @ 1 point I probablt should have gone to a hospital & i could have gotten better faster but I was scared & in a strange city. Now I’m back home crying my eyes out b/c I didn’t get to do anything I planned. I won’t get a chance to go until NEXT fall. I feel like my whole life is over. I wanted to kill myself b4 but I REALLY do now.
Meds don’t, help, Dr’s don’t help. I’m unempployed with no health insurance. I feel so screwed!
Even the damn Dr’s & therapists don’t know wtf to do with me anymore.
I know ALL about DBT & I have two words : NO INSURANCE/MONEY! So I’m screwed!
I live in TX & their mental health care system sucks. i am having to go thru something similar to social services 7 it totally sucks. I’d rather die than be stuck in county hospital (AGAIN). Why do the poor mentally ill have to suffer when the rich ones cna have all the drugs they want? It’s NOT fair!

Hi, I have a claim due to damage due to free falling on my property during a Tornado. Is it true you can make money the following way:
- Get a quote/estimate from the insurance company from their contractor
- then choose to hire another company for HALF the price for example.
- Insurance company or mortgage company will check damage was fixed properly, but NOT receipts (is this true!?)
- if damage was fixed properly they will pay you original estimate amount say $ 5000.
In summary you only paid $ 2500. Hence you made $ 2500 less $ 300 deductible = $ 2200!
is this correct they will pay WITHOUT asking to see receipt in this case!? one reason why I can see them do that is to keep you happy whil ethey were planning to pay the same amount anyway to their contractor. still, wanted to confrim this interesting opportunity to make money really exists(?)

They may or may not check receipts, but the vast majority of the time, they will.
It’s highly unlikely that you’ll make money in this case – most of the time, the tree removal coverage is limited enough, that it’s going to cost more to remove the tree, than you policy covers.

Question : My boyfriend wants to work with animals in some way. Where can he get trained in vet assisting?
or be a vet technican? he wanted to work for the ASPCA but all those jobs are in NY and we live in Mississippi but want to move to St. Louis in the next 4 to 5 years. any help or other career choices would be helpful. thanks!

Have him check out the local Humane Society, they can always use volunteers with the animals and probably can offer him on the job training as well. Also, Check with your local community college, they might be able to give him some leads.

Yes, it is possible. If you don’t mind getting shoddy work done, then knock yourself out.
I had a large tree branch come down and scrap a spot on the siding on my house. The insurance company gave me $ 400 to fix it. I took a paint brush and slapped some paint on it and in 5 minutes it was done. You could save even more by doing the work yourself.
