Summit Team driver Jason Line, Warren Johnson, Ricky Jones and Dan Runte spend Thanksgiving week in thanks American troops stationed in the military community of Kaiserslautern in Germany. The team travel to KMC 20 to 25 November in support of a mission sponsored USO, which will also include a visit to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center to meet with wounded U.S. soldiers.

trip by Major (ret) Dieter Prötsch and SFC (Ret) Wayne Reed, members of the Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to be performed. The USO is air transport for the team on to a flight of eight hours in Frankfurt, Germany 20 November can be left.
The team will be based on the Ramstein Air Base, and the 86th Services Squadron will host the drivers and provide transportation and logistical support during the visit. The group will visit three days with military personnel assigned to units in the Kaiserslautern Military Community and visit Landstuhl Regional Medical Center and Wounded Warrior Center with wounded American soldiers and hospital staff to attend to. The group of about 1,500 bags of souvenirs, and various other gifts and autographs to distribute during the visit before returning home 25 November.

is the largest air base in Europe and is responsible for rescue missions, the soldiers wounded to a hospital in Landstuhl. Group A? Tour includes stops in the emergency Aeromedical Staging Facility, Ramstein Passenger Terminal Services, Kaisterslautern Military Community Center, 435 Emergency Response Group and the 86th Squadron of the preparation of the vehicle, which is responsible for maintaining the Ramstein? ? s fleet.

In whatâs become its own holiday tradition, Boston Pack and Ship, a small load shipping specialist, donated 300 boxes, tape and other packing supplies to Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops for its annual Christmas Care Packages drive.
Cape Cod Cares For Our Troops is a non-profit organization started in 2005 by then 12-year-old Dylan DeSilva of Brewster, Mass. Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops sends care packages to U. S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan on a weekly basis. For the holidays, Cape Cod Cares For Our Troops holds a special Christmas Care Package drive. This yearâs goal is to send 1000 care packages to U. S. soldiers overseas.
âWeâve been involved with Cape Cod Cares For Our Troops for a few years now. Itâs one of those causes where itâs never a question of whether or not we can help, but how much,â said Joe Fell, co-owner of Boston Pack and Ship.
In addition to Boston Pack and Shipâs donation, the small load shipping specialist recruited its vendor, Collin Box & Supply, of Easton, Mass. , to sell the remainder of the boxes needed by Cape Cod Cares For Our Troops, 800, at cost.
âWe receive a number of these requests, almost on a weekly basis, and itâs an easy one to say yes to,â said Paul Murphy of Collin Box & Supply. âMy daughter is with the Air Force and will soon be deployed overseas. Iâm grateful for the efforts of groups like Cape Cod Cares For Our Troops for their support of the men and women overseas serving our country. â
