Question : know of any affordable good family vacation spots in the south east?
We just got notice that my husband has a mandatory 5 day vacation in mid april. I haven’t been saving but of course we want to go somewhere because he only gets 2 weeks vacation year. We really want to go to the beach and we always go to santa rosa beach in fl. We just would like some change. Does anybody got any ideas? And it has to be very affordable but not trashy! We have 4 kids, ages 13,8,5, and 3. We also have 2 dogs that we would like to bring along but we’ll board them if we have too.

Disney World is wonderful, but of course that’s still in Florida. There’s also Universal close by. Also in Florida… and pricier than Disney as well.
