A family in California filed a complaint against the Las Vegas Sands, LLC, Venetian Casino Resort, LLC, and Manpower Inc. following the theft of their car safely move from the Venetian parking.

The lawsuit alleges that although the cross-country trip from Chicago to Los Angeles during the Thanksgiving holiday in 2006, the family made Krzyston a night at the Venetian Hotel and Resort. The family was instructed by the staff of Venice, its 26-foot Penske moving truck laden park, which sets up all their possessions in a specific lot for oversized vehicles. There was no assurance that the lot was secured and monitored 24 hours a day. The next morning the family to get to his truck, only to discover he was gone.

Christmas Day 2006, the moving truck was found empty, parked outside a hotel in downtown Las Vegas.

After several months had passed, and yet nowhere in the Las Vegas Metro Police investigation used an undercover and set up a decoy equipped U-Haul moving van with its own GPS tracking equipment. After several hours the truck was stolen. The police followed the truck to a storage site nearby, where they found an arrest and more than 17 memory units in stolen goods. Unfortunately, the family could not recover Krzyston an amount of less than 5% of their items. All of their furniture, electronics, family photos, and priceless memories were never found.

There are 10 causes of action in case of gross negligence, including A562888, conversion, breach of contract and tort law of the tacit pact of good faith and fair dealing, constructive fraud, intentional abuse and neglect, emotional distress and breach of duty of care the recruitment and training.
