Question : What would be the cost to move a 3 bedroom house across country? How about to move the same in two trips?
We are moving across country, but want to leave some things in our house for staging purposes as well as the fact that one of us is staying for a number of months until the house gets sold. We are trying to figure out how much we are going to spend if we split the move up into two trips, or if it is cost prohibitive to do so. Thanks.

Question : can a husky and a cat share the same household peacefully?
just wondering because my husky is 2 1/2 and like most huskies has a bit of a prey drive (she killed one of my small parrots last winter but it had clipped wings and no defense). however i’d like to bring a kitten into the house…we would be careful with it in its smaller stages of course…but i was just wondering if it is a good idea or not and if a peaceful co-existence can be achieved.

for the most part they should be fine and actually pretty good friends once they get to know each other my friend has a lab shepard mix and a simeese cat and they get along great and even look out for each other, if your playing with the cat and he gets mad at you the dog will come over and growl at you till you leave the cat alone!
they sleep to gether and play all the time
it should be fine as long as you take your time introducing them and are careful when the cat is a kitten.

I live in Chicago, Illinois and I have my home for sale-a 2-flat. I personally don’t think my realtor is wokring to the best of her ability and I would like to know if I can put if up for sale on my own as well as having the Realtor working on it. Does anyone know the rules for this?

You will get lots of answers on this. Yes you can BUT you will have to pay a commission even if you sell it. Read your contract. Some realtors would be willing to let you out of the contract.

We are interested in a 3 unit property on the same plot of land. A friend of mine just bought a 9 unit where 7 units were in one building and 2 were in another. He was able to get one commercial loan for the 7 units and a residential loan for the other. So if there is a property we are looking at that has 3 separate buildings, could we get three separate loans? There is one house and two cottages.

This will all depend on how the deed is registered. If all 3 building are listed on one land under 1 deed, then you will have to get one loan. Usually, a loan is considered a residential loan fo 1 to 4 units.

We will pack ourselves. We have living room, master bedroom, den, and kitchen furniture plus the contents of a garage.

Most of them will give you quotes for free – but I moved less than ten miles and did all the packing myself and didn’t even have a stove or frig to move and they charged me $ 400.00. They did give me 20 free big boxes to pack in for free when I gave my deposit. ($ 100 an hour and $ 150 for every hour over 4 hrs was the going rate at most reputible places) They moved me in just under 4 hrs.
I tipped them $ 100.00 on top of that (in total to be split by all 3 men)

I got a no insurance ticket today, didnt realize policy had expired. Can I get it dismissed if I get insurance the same day as the ticket was written out? quick answers greatly appreciated

In most states, no.

It can only be dismissed if you reinstated your insurance before getting the ticket.

I had the same experience. Believe me, you’ll never forget again. For something like 3 years straight I had to send in proof of insurance every month to the state to be able to keep my driver’s license(once I got it back). I had my license suspended for 3 weeks, because not only had my policy lapsed, it was because I was because I slid on the ice and hit someone.
