The agent, Marcos Gerardo Manzano Jr., 26, was arrested earlier this week and charged with harboring illegal immigrants at his home, among them his father, a twice-deported illegal immigrant with a criminal record.
The discovery of the secret room, along with the large law enforcement presence during the search -– an FBI SWAT team led the raiding party — suggest that the investigation is more expansive and that the four-year veteran of the agency could face additional charges.
Authorities found the hidden room beneath a concrete slab in the backyard patio, said Assistant U.S. Atty. Tara McGrath. A search of the room turned up an illegal immigrant hiding under a table, McGrath said. Agents also found 61 grams of methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia and narcotics packaging materials in the home, she added.
Manzano Jr., who was arrested Monday night at the Imperial Beach Border Patrol station, travels regularly to Mexico to visit his girlfriend and family members, said McGrath, who urged the judge to bar any foreign travel if he posts bond, which was set at $ 75,000.
The agent’s father, Marcos Gerardo Manzano Sr., 46, had allegedly lived at his son’s home in the border community of San Ysidro since September 2009. He had been deported in 2008 after being convicted of possession of marijuana for sale. Manzano Jr. is also charged with lying to a federal investigator for allegedly stating that he didn’t know of his father’s whereabouts.
Manzano Sr. was not found at the home and remains at large.

Well i just finished the second stage of vandread on netflix as they are about to find men suitable for the experiment to come. During the last scenes dita mentions the “Promise” and i have no idea how that is connected to going to her room? Also how many stages are there and if the 3rd stage is available is it on netflix like stage 2 and 1?

This is a novel called Vandread Extra Stage if you’re interested tho. It picks right up where the anime ends, but i’m unsure if theres an english translation.
In episode 15 – last episode of stage one, Dita forces Hibiki into making the promise to visit her room.
Being that they haven’t had any contact with the opposite sex, they don’t really know how to act, so Dita just wants to show Hibiki her room as a sort of cutsy, romance, lets-hang-out kind of thing so they can get to know each other better, etc.

my husbands daughter who is 8 doesnt live with us and rarley visits and when she does she even more rarley stay the night. we have a 2 bedroom home and she has a fully furnished room here that i feel is a very big waste of space since she doesnt really use it since she doesnt live with us, also we have an at home business and seriously need an office space beacuse now our bussiness stuff is just floating around everywhere so i want to convert this room thats just sitting there into an office for us..my husband had this room for her since before we met and i didnt really care before but now its really bothering me .. he refuses to make this change and keeps saying im making him choose between her and me which i feel is absurd. am i being out of line? this is OUR home and its such a waste of a room we cant even use it for what we need it for its not even being used at all right now and he seems to want it that way
she has only been here about 3 times in the last 8 months and only for a few hours each time.. she has never lived here.. i dont see how anyone can justify keeping the room this way its ridiculous and no reason to feel guilty about it. there has to be a way we can effectively deal with the situation
