Me and my girlfriend and another couple are looking to rent a condo either in panama city beach or Myrtle beach this summer but it seems all of them say the minmum age is 25. Does anyone know of any condos that rent to people under 25?(we are all 23)

I honestly cant think of any condo that hasnt cracked down on that rule. You could still rent from a hotel though. There are some places that will rent to 18 yr olds with a security deposit. I think places like the Days Inn maybe but for sure the Sandpiper Beacon. Give a few places a call but I doubt you will find a condo. GOOD LUCK!

Or, if easier, which states do not require this. I know that Florida requires all the above, which takes some time to complete. I would like to build a house and act as the general contractor. But I need to build it before the end of the year, so I don’t have time for the formalities. I am currently a general in a state that doesn’t require this but the housing prices are not appreciating in value.

Washington state has no test or requirements to be a General Contractor. You do have to be bondable and get insurance to get a Contractors license. Your mother could get a contractors license. Unless you know construction and know the permit process and have done this before, I do not think a lender will allow you to be your own contractor beacuse you do not have the experience to get the job done. You may want to check into UBuild-it they have lenders and they let you do as much as you can handle and they do all the permits, they also have subs you can use. Good luck

NYS….When i mention it to other brokers they say it is not necessary and are surprised that they are requesting it. I don’t see the reasoning behind it other than another way to bilk people. He does not rent and is not a tenant.
I had Allstate and they are not renewing due to hurricane risk. Go figure.
This may sound unusual but The contents are not my concern. I just want home owners insurance because the mortgage company requires it. To require me to have anyone living with me to also get renters insurance seems fishy. why would someone be able to sue him if they get hurt? Wouldn’t they have to sue the owner of the property?
