Lifetime Achievement Award – Robert Collins. Robert Collins was one of the two as “fathers of the Colorado Medical Device Industry”. In 1964 joined Mr. Collins and his business partner Ran Bellows their small Southern California in Lakewood, Colorado. Your company, COBE Laboratories, manufactures and markets specialty medical products worldwide and has become an international player quickly in the medical industry.

Lifetime Achievement Award – Robert Anderson. Robert Anderson is also known as one of the two “fathers of the Colorado Medical Device Industry”. In 1969, Mr. Anderson co-founder Valleylab, Inc., and served as CEO and president until January 1986. He gave his position as CEO in 1986 and continued as chairman until his retirement in May 1996.

2010 Business of the Year – Amgen. Amgen Colorado was used was a collaboration with researchers at the University of Colorado with Dr. Marvin Caruthers born as a scientific founder of the company. 2010 CBSA Chairman’s Award – Award 2010, the CBSA President – Dr. Temple Grandin. Dr. Temple Grandin was born in Boston, Massachusetts. His achievements are remarkable, because it was a child with autism. After considerable personal perseverance and the unwavering support of his family and a special science teacher mentor, Dr. Grandin received her BA from Franklin Pierce College received in 1970. In 1974, she worked as an editor for the Arizona Farmer and livestock Ranchman also worked for the industry Corral on equipment design. In 1975 she received her Masters in Animal Science at Arizona State University for his work on the behavior of animals in different squeeze chutes.
