Question : What percentage of people are able to graduate from the Haverhill staging course?
I’ve been reading the fine print on the Haverhill website and it seems they only guarantee employment to students who manage to graduate. So there is no money-back guarantee if you don’t graduate.
It seems like they do a lot to keep people from graduating, like how you only have two months to do your course sections. You also have to get 80% or higher on the final exam. What if they just “choose” to not award anyone 80% or higher? And you have to stage several houses on your own too.
I guess I just want to know if people are really graduating from the course.

I will let you know. I just finished all the assignments. I need to attend the class via internet or in person and then take a test. They better not tell me that I did not pass.

I heard that it is better to pay my own property taxes because the mortgage companies take a percentage of the bill. Is this just a rumor or is there any truth in this?

Out of the monthly condo association fees, what is the amount that would normally go to the actually management company for services performed. This is in regards to Indiana, but any states would be a good starting point. Also, can anyone point me in the direction of a good book that can explain how to start up a condo management business, i.e. Forms needed, marketing ideas, What to charge…Thank you

It depends upon the size of the property and what management services are provided.
Typically, the fees would be similar to what property management companys would charge for a similar size rental property. I have seen fees from anywhere from 4 to 40% of collected rents.

What percent to order and install a kitchen remodel. My contractor wants 50 percent to order and 40 when install begins and 10 at completion. Is that about right for licensed and insured contractor in Florida?

I would not do any business with anyone under these terms. I would offer to immediately pay for delivered materials and to quickly pay for completed work. If you pay ahead he has NO INCENTIVE TO DO ANYTHING EVER. He will already have his profit and can make more money doing nothing than finishing the job.

I am so sick of renting. How much money (Everything including, Closing Cost, Down Payment, EVERYTHING) would you guestimate I would need to get a house with an FHA loan. The price range I would be looking is around $85,000 dollars. And also, do I have to pay the Realtor? I really don’t know anything about Real Estate. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
My credit rating is decent, I just don’t have a lot of funding available.
