You would probably get the best prices in North Myrtle or Garden City. I always stay near the north part of Myrtle Beach proper. I like the Dayton House resort.

we have 5 kids (10-16) and 3 adults. we’d like a room that fits all of us and that is right on the beach. we’re looking for a rather lively area with lots of shops and restauraunts within walking distance. where should we stay?
also what other activities are there other then the beach, are there any boat trips, dolphins or whale watching, ect.

BREAKERS on oceean blvd, in the middle of alot of attractions, and is a very lively area, and its right on the beach. Have fun.
also check out Brook Green Gardens, ATALAYA. Broadway at the Beach. (great for the kids) Bare Foot Landing(North Myrtle Beach, 15 min away)
