There is a company which delivers a small storage container to your home, you fill the container with your stuff at your leisure then when you are ready to move to your new place they move it for you or if you are not ready to move it then they take it to a storage facility.

YRC Worldwide is the largest freight company in the US. I just not sure if it moves the sea container or not. It more of a trucking company
