How do I obtain a license from Real Estate NY if I live in England?

0

I live in England but want to do my real estate license so I could work in a position in New York and am advising anyone who has done it before would like, or who knows how to prendreRéponse

TelulahB
you can not. In New York State, you have the required courses in person and take a fingerprint test. NY does not have facilities for online training in moment.Vous can bring a class to express what you want to spend a few weekends, when you go full time, but you will still have the 45 hours in person. NYU has a great program like Express Hunter University. There are other good sûr.Une list of requirements and approved schools can be found here: best wishes and http://www.dos.state.ny.us/lcns/realest.htmlDésolé

Does anyone live in the Poconos? Honest opinion?

0

Hello everyone and thank you for the holidays lectureJe only wanted to share your honest opinion of the Poconos. And I do not answer like “Oh, leave that I was there, and I loved the fall colors.” I want to receive replies from two Native Americans (if they still exist) and newcomers. The Poconos seem to have hidden secrets that you learn to move here. You believe that urbanization is expected to increase (ERS Ny ‘and people NJ)? Do you think people should stop whining and stop moving here (natives)? What do you think of the 5-6 feet of snow in some areas and snow is not present, thinking in others (the people who live in APCP, Pocono Farms, etc., and Route 196). You wish there were things you said before you were drawn here? (New commuters). Do you think that you were affordable by the campus as schools for your children at home and duped? How about finding a gas station on the “E”? My friend says that if the natives do not want to attract commuters to come here, then they should not advertise their homes in the NY Daily News and etc. Do you think she has a point? Do you think that the quality of the houses is expected to increase? In what areas do you want? They seem to have the feeling real estate agents “newbies” a single domain alias APCP (Pocono Country Place) show, if they have nothing else to do? What were your experiences during the first moved here, as far as your period transition.BTW …. I’m completely neutral. I love it here, I’m a freshman in school full-time working and staying out of trouble. But it will be interesting to hear other opinions.Merci and Happy Holidays !!!!! Reply

Short Sale? Rent it? or Live in it?

1

Question : Short Sale? Rent it? or Live in it?
I am a 27 yr old professional, I purchased a home near Boca Raton, Fl in April 2006. I paid $ 235,000 for my condo. My current monthly payment is $ 2100/month (Mortgage $ 1510+ Maintenance $ 328 + Prop. Taxes $ 267). I’ve had two major changes to my life within the last 6 months. I lost my job, and got engaged. The good news I have since found another job, but it is approx 45 miles from my house. My fiance and I would like to move in together, but to move into my place her drive would be a ridiculous 65 miles each way. She currently lives with her parents about 12 miles from her work. I am very concerned with blemishing my fantastic credit (800+), but my concern is that my condo will never return to it’s $ 235k value. Should I short sale? Rent it and take a monthly loss(i can get about 1400/month for it)? Or should I stick it out and drive for 3 hrs a day?

Renting it and taking a monthy loss on it is the best option. Aim to get a year long lease, within two years you should be able to sell it for a profit.

The market goes up and down, I know in currently in Florida its in sad shape.

The market will rebound though and you’ll be glad you held onto it.

Don’t go into panic and short sale it though, in area where the housing market is inundated with listings, even short sale becomes financial suicide.

Texas Immigration Proposal Draws Protest

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas

Clutching American flags and signs that read “America was formed by immigrants,” more than 300 protesters on Saturday denounced a city proposal that would prohibit landlords from leasing to illegal immigrants.
About two dozen counter-protesters staged a demonstration nearby.

The proposal by City Councilman Tim O’Hare would also make it tougher for illegal immigrants to work in the Dallas suburb, penalize businesses that employ undocumented workers and make English the city’s official language.

Protesters branded the proposal a racist initiative that would single out Hispanics, who make up about 37 percent of the city’s population, according to U.S. Census Bureau figures from 2000.

“If we’re of a certain color, they’re going to point their finger at us,” said Jose Gomez, a 42-year-old naturalized citizen.

Organizers of the rally emphasized that immigrants, regardless of status, pay taxes when they shop, rent or buy a home in Farmers Branch.

Families with children and college students rallied in temperatures topping 100 degrees.

O’Hare, who was not seen at the rally, and a city spokesman did not immediately return calls to The Associated Press.

Counter-protesters carried signs reading “I place all persons in the USA illegally under citizen’s arrest” and “Como se Dice illegal en Espanol?”, which translates to “How do you say illegal in Spanish?”

Supporters of the proposal said the measure would address problems with health care, education and crime in the city.

“They’re taking our jobs, our homes,” said Debbie Rawlins, 48. “There’s unemployment partly because of the Hispanics. The lady that took my job is Hispanic and she’s bilingual.”

City Council members heard from constituents earlier this week on whether Farmers Branch should approve the measures, but no decision was made.

Could you live on $20,000 a year?

5

Question : Could you live on ,000 a year?
I’m thankful to have a job but I’m really getting screwed where I’m working right now….
I’m working for a State Farm agent making $ 11 an hour. I have my property and casualty licenses and I am also S.F. bank certified. I answer the phones, handle service work, basic admin./office manager duties, as well as sales of home and auto policies. I’m barely making $ 20,000. If I were to actually use my medical allowance for health insurance, I would be taking home even less!!

I feel like I am underpaid. I keep hearing about others in my same position getting paid significantly more. I’m living near Charlotte, NC too so I’m not in the back woods of BFE somewhere. I have asked for a raise but really don’t think it is going to happen because some excuse always pops up. I’ve been here for over a year and a half with no increase. I feel bad asking for money or making anyone “uncomfortable” but I feel like I am getting screwed. It is a small office, as in under 4 people and I do a bulk of the work….

Do you think I am being paid fairly? What should I do?
