I have contacted numerous companies and they are all telling me that because the wall hasn’t been written into the plans we must have plans drawn up and file for permits with the county. They have all quoted me on nothing less than $ 900, needless to say these are harsh prices for a small business like ours. I’ve spoken with our property company and they claim no responsibility. They claim that when we signed our lease we inherited all problems with the building. Even though it had never been disclosed to us that the wall had never been given a permit. Please someone help!
