Last year I was invited to the holiday office party but decided not to go. This year I was invited again and out of guilt I said “yes.” (A few weeks ago, a co worker came up to me and asked why I don’t hang out with them after work. I don’t want them to think I am a prude). I was asked to bring a significant other but I’m not.. I don’t have a boyfriend. Problem is I’m not all that close with anyone.. it’s all upper management. They’ll all have their bf’s and husbands and I’ll be the loner. Should I go? If so, how do I fit in? I’m not working right now so I was going to approach my boss asking if she needed extra help. Is this a good idea?
