Question : haverhill staging any thoughts?
Hey I am looking into doing online home staging. I have narrowed it down to a few. I am wondering if anyone here has been hired by haverhill…or has completed their staging course?? can you let me know if there are any other home staging course you like too? that are available in canada!

My thoughts are to spend the extra money on the Ann Maurice in-conference course and buy lots of books. In-class courses are best.

Has anyone signed up for their staging course, completed it, and been offered work with them?

I’m worried that it’s like a lot of those work from home scams, where you complete the project and then haven’t done well enough to get hired.

Question : What percentage of people are able to graduate from the Haverhill staging course?
I’ve been reading the fine print on the Haverhill website and it seems they only guarantee employment to students who manage to graduate. So there is no money-back guarantee if you don’t graduate.

It seems like they do a lot to keep people from graduating, like how you only have two months to do your course sections. You also have to get 80% or higher on the final exam. What if they just “choose” to not award anyone 80% or higher? And you have to stage several houses on your own too.

I guess I just want to know if people are really graduating from the course.

I will let you know. I just finished all the assignments. I need to attend the class via internet or in person and then take a test. They better not tell me that I did not pass.

They guarantee you employment if you pass their course. Sounds too good to be true. Any comments would be appreciated.

they may be able to offer you a number of jobs, but they might not be jobs your wanting or willing to take.

Nicki, no I haven’t, but I’ve looked at their website too.
It’s only a 5 day course, so cannot be too intense.

Not sure about them hiring, the site does state:
Description: This intensive hands-on training program is designed to supply you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to assist you in the start-up phase of your own redesign & home staging business.

Realistically, they couldn’t hire everyone who completes their course.

Why not do it, if it interests you?

I am interested in home staging as a career as I have a knack for interior decor. I was looking at the Haverhill Home Staging course. Has anyone been through this course? If so, have you had success? What was your experience? Do you recommend it?

Note: PLEASE do not advertise other courses to get my credentials in home staging. I’m only asking about Haverhill right now.
