Question : i got 2 documents after a mortgage refi? about 1 month after i completed my refi, i get 2 documents from county clerk/recorder. one of them is title “substitution of trustee” and the other is “full reconveyance”. apparently they were both requested by my previous mortgage company. i can’t seem to understand what exactly this is for.

Answer by wizjpSubstitute trustee means your mortgage was a deed of trust, and a new trustee was appointed. No biggie.

Full reconveyance probably means the property was conveyed back to you out of More >
