Although somewhat better than in the past, the number of theater activities in the Dallas area is pitiful and most of the theaters are small and run by a core group of people. The two major ones continue to be Theatre Three and the Dallas Repertory, then there are about 5 “underground” operations like UnderMain and perhaps 4 real community theaters in the county area.
