Question : Can I sue the home owner for leaky air conditioning system? I recently purchased a home .Central AC never worked, however, it worked at the time of inspection. Apparently there is a freon leak somewhere inside the wall. It will cost about $ 1500 to fix the problem. Looks like owner had just filled freon before inspection. Home warranty company will fix it by opening many holes in the drywall. They will not pay for the expenses to fix the holes in the dry wall. Do I have a case here?
