Are there any residential (independently owned) castles in the Charleston, SC area that may be for sale?

Question : Are there any residential (independently owned) castles in the Charleston, SC area that may be for sale?
I’m looking to purchase a castle or castle-like structure (with stone turret/tower, etc.) in the Charleston South Carolina area. Ideally, it would be less than 4000 square feet. If you know of a structure like this, and it’s not currently for sale, I would still like to know of it as things can always change in the future. Another option I would be interested in would be an old church with a tower that I could convert to a home.

If you know the location, please include in answer. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks so much!

no such animal sorry. Anything “old” in Charleston SC is considered “Historic” and EXTREMLY Pricey. (high six to 7 digit easy) plus you don’t want to put up with the ridiculous rules regarding historic homes (you MUST use approve paints and any remodeling requires an act of God) the only “castles” I know about is Castle Pickney (now destroyed and surrounded by harbor water) and the Citadel. Otherwise there are not any sorry.
