I bought my iPhone two years ago, it’s broken now. Do I have to buy a new one?

Question : I bought my iPhone two years ago, it’s broken now. Do I have to buy a new one? I bought my iPhone in November 2007….I forget how long the warranty lasts, but it was broken in 2008 and they easily exchanged it for a new working phone back then. Now it’s practically June 2009 (obviously) and the home button isn’t working at all.

Will I have to buy a new one, or is there some discount/coverage at all?

Just want to know before I shell out the money. Thanks! home warranty coverage

Bought a new house…septic tank problems. Warranty expires soon; how do I protect myself?

Question : Bought a new house…septic tank problems. Warranty expires soon; how do I protect myself? I called the builder a couple of weeks ago, he sent someone out. The guy said our toilets were overfilling, then draining the excess off into the tank, which was putting too much load on the tank. Sounds like hogwash to me, but I gave it a week. Anyway, I called the builder again since I’m still having problems, but my warranty expires next month. I have nothing in writing to show that I’m having problems in the warranty period–it’s all been between the builder and the guy who installed the More >

Joe, the owner bought straw hats and prevent another mortgage meltdown

It seems audacious, is not it? The best defense against another collapse of the mortgage requires the owner to take Joe on the affordability of the mortgage.

We should by now have learned that we do not rely on Wall Street, financial institutions or banks for the health of our economic future.

In light of this, you should not be surprised to hear me say that offering a mortgage has nothing to do with the approval of the loan done.

And if you were to get candidates to spy on news of mortgage approval, you could not help a bit surprised.

Just bought a renovated home – the floor seems unstable??

Question : Just bought a renovated home – the floor seems unstable?? I just bought and moved into an older (67 years old) home that was completely renovated (roof, siding, electric, heating, plumbing, a/c, interior, doors, windows, etc) in 2007. My question is: the floor is saggy in some places, and makes a lot of “popping” noises when you walk across it. I’ve also noticed that the stuff (not sure what the proper name is) between the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom is coming out in little crumbly pieces. Is this normal for a newly tiled floor? Also, is the saggy floor normal for an older More >
