Question : Is it better to rent through a property management or home owner we have a foreclosure on our credit?
We tried to modify our loan and were unable to. Our home is now going up for auction on Dec 28th. I don’t know how much time we have so we are now rushing around trying to find a home to rent. I had heard that you should be honest and disclose the situation regarding the foreclosure with the potential landlord. I did that and guess what…she rented to someone else. Is it better to lie about the forclosure? Also will we have better luck going through a property management company or a home owner to find a rental? I have been with the company I work for 9 years and my husband has been with Intel for 3 years. We make good money and can afford the rent but we are concerned about the credit issue. We don’t have much time so any advice is appreciated.

i think that a villa would be the way to go, more privacy and in a place like Australia it more fun to have a great view of either the desert or of the sea which is better from a villa. also money wise a decent villa with cost the same as a 5 star hotel except you just don’t have the extra money for maids and room service and a restaurant down below. but definitely a Villa would be the way i would go. also you should visit Ayres Rock while you are there it is beautiful

KC looks pretty nice from what I have seen.

Both areas are nice, but offer different features or amenities. Palmetto Dunes is a gated community – meaning you need a car pass in order to enter. There are a number of villa or condo complexes all located along the beach and will probably offer the best selection if you chose to have each family in their own 2 -3 bedroom villa or condo. There are also a couple of hotels with restaurants, a general store for some food items, a tennis club and golf courses. Palmetto Dunes is also located across the way from the Shelter Cove Marina which has a number of restaurants and shops.
Forest Beach is a more active part of the Island. There are a number of homes and villa/condo complexes located along the beach. There is also Coligny Plaza – a large open air shopping mall with over 70 shops and restaurants. Forest Beach is also where the main Public Beach access is at Coligny Park. There is a water fountain the kids can run through, restrooms and beach showers. Basically everything is within walking distance – including a grocery store.
