Question : For people who went back to school later in life?
Here is the deal… I’m at a point of starting over. Leaving my boyfriend who was my life the last 4 years. I’m moving back home from NY to Seattle (I came out here to be with him- then he told me it’s not working out).
I want to know… does education change your life for the better? The question may sound obvious, and I want to go back to school but that may mean some real sacrifices. LIke living with my family (who is on the dysfunctional side) at least for awhile.
Otherwise I can go back to work at a mediocre job so I can live on my own again.
All my friends tell me I shouldn’t live because it’s unhealthy there but I’ve been thinking about biting the bullet and doing it just for awhile to try to get past this stage of my life.
I’m 26 years old. I started in a comm. college after school but dropped out after a semester. I’m tired of “just getting by.” It’d be nice to have new skills so I can enjoy what I do.
I think it would give me a better idea of what I want.

Do what you want in life. If you want an education, then go for it. Is there any other place you can live, so you don’t have to live with your family? You can get a financial aid if you have financial problems.

I’m not going back to school or anything. I just happened to major in something I didn’t have passion for. Now I’m 23 years old and I just got started majoring in fashion design.

I attend SFC, a “college” just outside of, and a funnel for, The University of Florida. Today, I went onto my email account and found that it was gone. I am dual enrolled and I had been by the dual enrollment office to have them change my name on SFC’s open campus (It’s like a virtual classroom. Kinda useless). They never fixed the open campus name, but were able to DELETE my previous email. Now, that email had some VERY important documents and codes. Is there anyway I can retrieve those? Can I do it or, because it is a school run domain, does the school need to do it? How can I find out? This is a “Gmail” account (my.sfcollege.edu powered by Google).

Question : We are remodeling our kitchen and I need your opinion.Should we get rid of our back door?
We are in need of more cabinet space in our some what small kitchen. We are gonna knock out one wall and open the kitchen to what will be a family room. We will also turn a 5.5 foot wide window, in the family room, into a patio door that will lead out to a soon to be deck.

We have a kitchen door that is now 3.5 feet adjacent to where said patio door will be in 6 months. We have been getting different opinions on our kitchen back door. some people say yeah remove it for more cabinets. Some say no keep if for emergency exit.

My question is if we should keep the door even though we will have another set of doors 3.5 feet away in the family room on the same wall. what do you think.

Please try to explain your answer. your opinion will help me decide.
