Question : What companies can I get appointed with in Louisiana to write Home Insurance for my Insurance agency? I have an Indepenent insurance agency in Houston, TX and I am opening a branch office in Louisiana to offer home and auto insurance for LA residents. However, I am having a hard time finding companies that are appointing agents or writing home insurance other than Louisiana Citizens. Question : If a new realty company takes over your lease from another realty agency do they have to do a new lease? I live in a home and the realty company who had the lease i signed does not have the property anymore, a new realty company took over the lease. Question : How would your homeowners insurance agency know what breed of dog you have? Other than asking you, how would your homeowners insurance agency know the breed of your dog. I have been thinking about adopting a pit/pit mix but I am worried because my homeowners insurance does not cover certain breeds. So how do they know if you have one of those breeds?
