Question : Health information management vs. health services administration ?
What is the difference between these two. I’m thinking about choosing one of these majors but I’m wondering how different are they. I know that HIM is basically medical billing and HSA managing health care facilities but they seem very similar and seems like I can do almost the same type of jobs after both majors.
facility management services

Its true that you can do any kind of job after either of the two majors so you should choose which you may be interested in academically.

How are Masters in Sports Administration and Leadership degrees viewed?

Question : How are Masters in Sports Administration and Leadership degrees viewed?
I’m currently trying to decide the graduate school route that is right for me. I’m torn between a couple of options:

1) An MBA or MIB- I’ve always been interested in management and love the travel and pay options careers in this field offer.

2) A degree in Higher Ed. or Educational Administration- This could help me with my goal of working with kids and bettering a school system which are consistently failing.

3) A degree in Sports Administration and Leadership- I would love to be a high school athletic director and football coach and this seems like it would lead me on the right path. I’ve played sports and football since High School (including 4 seasons in college) so I have the athletic background, but I don’t know too much about this degree and if it’s even worthwhile.

I could do the AD thing with the Higher Ed degree too, but the MSAL degree could leave me options in other areas (I have also worked as an event coordinator at a sports facility).

What is your take on this?

From the supplier: The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)’s new rules on asbestos present new challenges to building owners. According to the rules, business owners must notify tenants of any existing asbestos in the building. The law creates an opportunity for savvy tenants to sue building owners if they are inconvenienced due to the elimination of asbestos in cases when they have not been informed. Owners should make sure that they have prepared a disclosure letter that meets OSHA requirements and should also examine their asbestos rider to see how its CGL clause applies.

If you were a corporate elitist that could afford $25k to talk to the Obama administration, what would you say?

Question : If you were a corporate elitist that could afford k to talk to the Obama administration, what would you say?
A lot of us want to talk to the big buy, but apparently the price is a bit high….Washington Post is charging $ 25k to have dinner with the Obama crew. Awesome how politics works, isn’t it? So, let’s say you were a mover and shaker in business and had $ 25k to blow on a night with the Obama staff…what would you say to them? What would you talk about? Btw, wasn’t Obama supposed to be all about transparency, against lobbying, and against corporate executives? I guess that went out the window fast! lol. A pro-Obama newspaper selling a dinner date with the Obama staff to lobbyists for $ 25k…nothing unethical with that, eh Demo-rats?
