Question : What would be the cost to move a 3 bedroom house across country? How about to move the same in two trips?
We are moving across country, but want to leave some things in our house for staging purposes as well as the fact that one of us is staying for a number of months until the house gets sold. We are trying to figure out how much we are going to spend if we split the move up into two trips, or if it is cost prohibitive to do so. Thanks.

Now, there is a paid-service that let parents of children to
‘personalized’ a letter and send the personalized letter to their
children on the ‘behalf’ of the Santa Claus. But, of course, the
children does not know that the parents is behind the act. The
children would believe that the letter is from the Santa Claus.
Now, this is just like when parents left cookies and milk on Christmas
eve and remove it next morning to stage that the Santa Claus came to
their house. Or these days parents could even buy a kit full of
Santa’s personal stuff like Santa Claus Driving License ID. Parents
could buy these kits and left ‘traces’ that Santa came to the house.
Of course, when children found these traces, they really believe Santa
Claus was here!
Now the question is: Is this moral (or is it ethical?) from a business
point of view?
Should business engage in these business – providing service and good
that let parent stage that Santa Claus is real? What’s your personal opinion?

It is not ethical to profit from the urban legend of Santa Claus. However, I must say, the letters I got from this service (yes I wrote to Santa when I was young) kept me believing until I was nearly 10 years old, and that, in all honesty, made me a better person. Why would you do something bad if Santa’s watching….?

I am moving across country from ohio to arizona or neveada and was wondering whats the best way to have a job set up so I can just start when I get there.I already have a place to stay but I dont want to waste money looking for a job for a month when I have bills to pay.Any ideas how I can get a job? I’m only looking for a $ 10 hr 35-40 hr a week job .NO FACTORY work

Well i’m not american, BUT dear fellow liberal democracy citizen, I find that employers love it when you go to them and ask if theres any work available, just have your resume’ with you.
But that only really works if your going for a pretty bad job and not expecting too much. I wouldn’t recomend it if your looking for a professional job or anything!

My boyfriend is moving across country and wants to keep his car, but he cant drive it here. It’s about a three day trip and there’s no way for him to drive it here.
However we’d like to keep the car since it’s all paid off and buying a new one would be a hassle.
Is there a way to keep the car? Like have it towed here? Does anyone know of any places that do that?

Is it cheaper to rent a u-haul trailor and move my self or are there some cheap companys which are semi reliable.? From what I have priced on internet by the time I rent u-haul and buy shipping supplies it is almost as much as one company that will ship for me.Thanks for any help.

You are looking at spending a lot of money either way. Whether you choose to rent a truck or hire a moving company is going to cost you quite a bit of money.
What many people do when moving long distances is to sell the stuff they have, and then buy new ones after you get to your destination. My nephew moved from California to Hawaii. Instead of paying for his items to be shipped to his new home, he sold all his main stuff, and used that money to buy new stuff in his new area. You might consider selling your big stuff like furniture and buy newer stuff once you get into your new home.

Two adults in rented 3bdbath house. Have 2 cars, a dog and a cat. Do I need a moving company plus car transport plus pet movers? I started to do a little research and I cant believe the price for moving boxes. What is a fair amount to ask my new company for? wouldn’t hurt to ask about the lease but I have my doubts. depending on the rental market where you currently live, your landlord may let you out of the lease if you can show a new job.
