Can I buy a house in Germany without a German citizen?
I am a U.S. citizen. I’ve tried to buy a house in a suburb of Berlin in Germany. Is this possible without any kind of permanent resident visa or citizenship? If I have to be able to buy a house, would I be able to live there permanently? Would you like to buy at a speed in the process of becoming a citizen? Germany has all the laws, to expedite the citizenship if you invest more to say in a German real estate company or € 500,000, as was the case in Switzerland?

Yes, you can buy a house in Germany as étranger.Pour a house does not automatically lead to a residence, and it has no effect if you intend citoyen.Pour you become a citizen resident for at least 8 years (3 years if married to a German) to which you need to pass the test of immigration to be.
Yes, you can bye a house in Germany without a residence status (you let the house for an income for example).
There is an investors visum in Germany. You have to invest 250 000€ AND must create 5 jobs.
