Which area in Queensland would be best to relocate to Cairns or the Sunshine Coast? The man is a painter?
The thought of the family to Queensland (4 youths) to move. We are after a beautiful area that is not overly built or tourism. As near water would be a plus if it is within commuting are distance.We “nice community feel” to an area with a low-cost real estate schools and good jobs are looking opportunities.We somewhere on the Sunshine Coast? possibliy or Cairns? Which of these areas ONTD good prospects for a painter and DecoraterRéponse

It really depends on what you want and how you rate each pro and con. Cairns is far hotter and more humid than the Sunshine Coast and the Sunshine due to it’s proximity to Brisbane has better facilities. Cairns is probably more affordable in real estate.
Both have “touristy” sections but both have nicer areas too.
On the Sunshine Coast consider behind the Coast such as Maleny or Montville or one of those smaller townships as you get community but your still close to everything. In Cairns, the beaches just to the north like Yorkey’s Knob, Holloway’s Beach and Machans Beach used to be nice…
