Making laws that protect workers has nothing to do with taxation. THAT is not where we went wrong, and the other examples show at best, no societal growth, when you take into account that environemental factors causing cancer in the workplace have replaced the lack of safety mechanisms. We just replaced one hazzard with another. Could this be because of the ineffectiveness of gov’t? And their intrusion into tings that theyare nt qualified to deal with, and are poltically motivated to answer?

I also don’t need to look to history to find homeless children in america. We have the infant mortality rate of a third world country. I don;t see how it gets worse than that. Also, seniors having to choose between medicine and food, and also being homeless.
