Question : Condo’s in Oregon?
I am checking around Grants Pass, Cottage Grove, Springfield and surrounding areas. I cannot seem to find affordable condos/Town-homes for sale in the $ 100,000 range or under. Anyone have any suggestions?

Bonnie, hello, jbrandtc again.
Prices are high. You shouldn’t have much trouble finding a condo for that amount, but a townhouse may be out of reach.

be careful to not get a cheaper unit but will not appreciate….ck with local relators and others to see what areas are growing or that have recent records of appreciation…or better yet…are predicted to grow in value in the future….
you may want to lease a place first; get a feel for areas – schools, etc…before you buy…

And you probably won’t find a townhouse for that, as prices aren’t too cheap in Oregon. People seem to think that it rains so much here that people don’t want to move here, but it’s the opposite. Supply and demand. Good Luck and don’t be too eager to purchase. You may have to rent when you get here before you find something in your price range.
probably find a small condo for your price range though.
