Give him a legal notice after your conclusion that he do not wish to give you copies…. saying that the contract will me taken as rejected if the copies are not supplied…
Have you paid him some thing….?
If its was a real estate purchase contract he should not be involved without a license. Second, you should always receive a copy of anything you sign (maybe not always available immediately, say if you sign something outside of an office, but they should provide them to you at their first chance to do so)
Hard to tell from your question what really happened.. deal with agent but husband gave you papers? or buying property from husband?
either way, if in doubt contact the agent’s broker as they DO NOT want any problems.
