There could have been some ” Short cuts” taken. Call a building inspector to make sure you are safe if you decide to buy it.
It could have been a seized govenment property and because of deadlines they sell it low to make a profit quick.
Maybe the location is bad.

I expect they forgot to put K after the price – $ 236K sounds much more likely. On the same page, it showed monthly repayments as $ 1. What can you get for a dollar these days? Surely £1K or $ 1,000 per month don’t you think? Otherwise every child in US would be buying a house with their $ 1 a week pocket money, and still have 3 weeks’ dollars to play with per month.
