Question : How to decipher strange Chicago addresses?
What does an address “LOT 21 VINCENNES AVE, CHICAGO, IL” mean? I cannot find it in Google earth. There is supposed to be a house for sale at this address.
I have other examples too, this is just one of many… in the format “LOT xx” followed by street name of VINCENNES, KILPATRICK, BEVERLY, KILBOURN.

Vincennes ave is a fairly long street on the south side. I am imagining there is something missing from the address. I can see them saying Lot xx 9500 S. Vincennes ave. They should include the block number since there are hundreds if not thousands of ‘lots’ on Vincennes.
