Pensacola Beach is still recovering. There is a lot of activity though. It isn’t anywhere as near as bad as it was. The road to Ft. Pickens has not been repaired/replaced, but they have a ferry service to Ft Pickens now. Is there a particular area you’re wanting to know about?
As Pottersclay said, there is a lot of activity out there. Pretty much anything you want to do is open and available. A lot of open beach area to enjoy, both surf and soundside, picnic areas, the boardwalk and piers have been redone.
Ft. Pickens is still limited but you can reach Navarre, Fort Walton, Destin, etc. with no problem by using Hwy 98. The boardwalk has plenty of food, bars and entertainment available. Unless you knew of the damage before on the boardwalk, you wouldn’t know there was any. Fewer houses along the strip but provides more beach viewing…
