why is service so bad at restaurants now?
Question : why is service so bad at restaurants now?
it seems like within the past 6 months the service, primarily at fast food restaurants has gone downhill. is it the way the corporate offices redesigned their businesses, lacking of training to new employees, or just plain bad management?
i have worked at some of these restaurants and it seems that i get better service most of the time when the old crew is there.

It’s a fast food restaurant.
1) Customer orders
2) Get them food as fast as possible
3) Customer leaves
4) Rinse, repeat.
Trust me, when I worked at a fast food place for minimum wage, I couldn’t care less about the customers.

i blame it on the economy. i mean how would you feel if you had to get up at like seven in the morning dress for work at a fast food restraunt and spend the rest of the day flipping burgers just to be able to make a living these days? as for the training maybe the managers are just lazy or cant afford the time

First off its fast food ppl working there are already in a shitty mood.
Then the customers most of them are rude and don’t know how to order or whatever then get pissed off at the employee like its there fault. Lastly its all about speed of service its fast food so everything has to be fast get them in and out the faster the better.
