Question : How is living in Lovettsville, VA?
I currently live in Arlington, VA but am starting to get tired of living in a high rise building. I would like to buy a single family home for under 350K somewhere in Loudoun county, VA. In online searches, I came across homes for sale in Lovettsville, VA. I don’t know much about this community or living there. It seems like a nice place although it is quite far from Washington DC. Can someone who lives there share their thoughts on what living in Lovettsville is like? How are the amenities (schools, shopping)? How is the community? How bad is the commute from there to the Washington DC area (I work in Silver Spring, MD)? I would appreciate feedback from someone who lives / has lived in that area or neighboring communities…

It can’t be worse than what you have. only 57 miles between the 2 cities. from the description of the town sounds like a good place to live.
