We are traveling to Kauai for a famiy vacation and are looking for a good condo in a good location that isn’t too expensive.

This family themed condo is packed with the comforts of home such as cooking utensils and spices, microwave, dish washer, washing machine, oven, hair dryer, internet access, linen and bathroom/toilet essentials.
There are 2 bedrooms, both with a queen bed. There is also a loungeroom with a comfortable couch along with 2 bathrooms.
Local activities include scuba diving/snorkeling, horse riding, surfing, golf, dolphin/whale watching, among other amusements.
The gardens surrounding the condo are often in bloom for you to create your own personal flower arrangements!

I was going to recommend a specific unit on the north shore, Puu Poa 112, but I don’t think it is large enough to suit.
A lot depends on where you would like to be on Kauai. Both north and south shores have nice beaches, but if you are looking for dramatic scenery and a little more privacy, I’d go for the north shore. We have rented through a company called Kauai Vacation Rentals, which has a very nice website (www.kauaivacationrentals.com) with lots of picture for each of their rentals. They discount for weekly stays. I put in your basic info and turned up a number of places to rent from $ 140-500/night, or about $ 1200-1400 weekly.
We have stayed only once on the south shore, at Poipu, at the Marriott Waikaloa (sp?). These condos are very, very expensive on a nightly or weekly basis, and we really thought they were nothing compared to what we have rented up north, for a lot less money.

I thought it only appropriate that I tell you how wonderful the condo was. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was beautiful. I have never seen such a stereo system. My unit at home is a one CD player. I had as much fun listening to music as I did eating on the porch with the ocean nearby. The decor was spectacular. I do quite a bit of business travel and this was the best condo I have been to. Absolutely great. Thanks for letting us enjoy.

The condo was great. One can see the attention to detail in the decor. The snorkeling was the best right in front of the unit, right out there with all the sea turtles. We spent a wonderful week here, loved the condo, the roar of the ocean and seeing gorgeous translucent blue waves reflected everywhere inside the room is something I’ll never forget.
