Question : Want to move to Las Vegas, but not sure where?
It’s always been my dream to move to Vegas after me and my husband first went and got married there. We’ve been several times since. We have a young child, so we really need to research good areas to move to, but we are also strapped for cash like everyone else. I see lots of homes that are being sold really cheap, forclosures and short sales, but I’m really not sure what is a good location. I have already looked into Boulder City, that seems nice, but the houses there may be out of our range. We would like to buy a house, not rent. We also have a pit bull and I would like to know if anyone knows of any ant-pit bull laws there may be. Some cities are like that. My main fear is we would move out there and not be able to find jobs and then can’t pay our house payment!

Your fears would come true. There just aren’t jobs here. For every single job opening there are 100 well qualified applicant that already live here. Those phony lowball house prices don’t even come close to the actual selling price. Double what you see. Investors are coming in and driving the final prices right up. The thing is the house remains empty because there just aren’t many renters and soon the investors will be doing the same thing. Don’t move here. Best for a retired person to live here.
