Want to move to Las Vegas, but not sure where?
Question : Want to move to Las Vegas, but not sure where?
It’s always been my dream to move to Vegas after me and my husband first went and got married there. We’ve been several times since. We have a young child, so we really need to research good areas to move to, but we are also strapped for cash like everyone else. I see lots of homes that are being sold really cheap, forclosures and short sales, but I’m really not sure what is a good location. I have already looked into Boulder City, that seems nice, but the houses there may be out of our range. We would like to buy a house, not rent. We also have a pit bull and I would like to know if anyone knows of any ant-pit bull laws there may be. Some cities are like that. My main fear is we would move out there and not be able to find jobs and then can’t pay our house payment!

Your fears would come true. There just aren’t jobs here. For every single job opening there are 100 well qualified applicant that already live here. Those phony lowball house prices don’t even come close to the actual selling price. Double what you see. Investors are coming in and driving the final prices right up. The thing is the house remains empty because there just aren’t many renters and soon the investors will be doing the same thing. Don’t move here. Best for a retired person to live here. School system is rated second worse in the nation. Better read this web page.
you might want to consider finding a job first and then come out and look for houses
a beautiful area in las vegas is north las vegas, its very calm and fun..i don’t think boulder city would be a good place for a family to live in (my opinion) plus if its not in your range, then look somewhere else. There are many houses that are on sale and they are very cheap.if u are having trouble finding a house, you can go to http://www.realtor.com , type in north las vegas and how many rooms, baths, etc. anything u are looking for, and there will be many different choices. my cousin has had a pit bull for many years and im pretty sure that in north las vegas, there isn’t any law about pit bulls so u wont have to give the dog away.i don’t know if your fear will come true, u can just try looking it up on Google or anyplace else if you want to look for a job…….hope i helpd:)
