Our organization seeks to work with the NY foster care system and provide mentorship to youths in group homes. We are directing our attention to those youths who are the least likely to be adopted for various reasons and seek to provide a stable and encouraging relationship. This is a needed and worthwhile endeavor.

We are in the initial stages of designing various fundraising initiatives to support the goals of our organization. We need someone to help create and design our webpage to help with our fundraising goals. I am capable of basic web-design and have a rough idea of what would be needed but am leery of taking on what should be a professional job.

We’re planning an addition for our home in the coming spring. We’re drawing up everything now. We’re going out the side of the house anywhere from 16-22′. We want it to be one large open space that will have a new kitchen and family room. Our house is 30′ from from to back and is currently 24′ from side to side. We’ll be going off of the 24′ side of the house, we’re on a double city lot. The addition will be on a crawl space. My question is at what footage will we need to add a supporting beam to help keep the trusses from sagging? We would definitely go with an I-beam to avoid columns, if that’s possible at that width. Our roof line runs the 24′ side. If I left anything out please let me know – HELP!
