Question : Heading to South Carolina for vacation, is Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach a better destination? We don’t golf.?
Heading to Charleston for a few days at the end of June. We would also like to go somewhere else along the coast, is Myrtle Beach or Hilton Head a better destination?

Hilton head,
ive been before
its simply amazing
youll love it
and make sure to visit the harbor town lighthouse and go all of the way to the top.
on the way up, theres quarter machines that can turn your quarter into a really cool coin
id do it if i were you

It depends on what you like.
Myrtle Beach is very ‘old school’ spring break-like. Downtown is like a big outdoor party. However we like the Broadway on the Beach area which has great shopping and dining with a great aquarium. It’s the newer part of MB.
Hilton Head is a little more exquisite I guess you would say.
While you’ll find all ages at both places, I feel that MB has a larger college-age crowd and HH an adult crowd. We like both for different reasons. If you’re adventurous, you’ll enjoy either place.

Myrtle Beach by far. There is so much to do in Myrtle you will need more than 2 vacations. You could spend a few days alone at Broadway at the Beach which is the state’s #1 attraction.
