I am planning on finishing my basement and I have a few spidery questions.?

Question : I am planning on finishing my basement and I have a few spidery questions.?
So my family is going to finish our basement and I am planning on moving down there. I was wondering if there will still be a lot of spiders even when it IS finished because most of the cracks will be sealed and we have 4 cats… But if there will be more spiders what can i do to get them out, but still not be poisoned myself.

Try hoovering them.

get some hedge apples and put them on plates in inconspicuous areas. they give off an odor spiders dont like, and they are free. just go find a tree. i just got some for my house.

i don’t think that there will be any spiders, but if there will, there are spider sprays and spider repellents that you can use to keep spiders out.

Dust often! Get rid of webs.
There’s also this little device you can get to plug into the wall. It makes some high frequency sound that you can barely hear that drives spiders out. My friend had it, but I’m not sure how much it costs. It seemed to work, though. Good luck.

I had watched an infomercial which a guy said peppermint oil gets rid of spiders. Do not know if that will help, but good luck

id get an exterminator u may have to stay out of there for a few days but it should work or just move in there and kill and spider that come

Seal it, keep it clean and bug free and the spiders will have no interest in coming in.
