Could realtors use scheduling software?

Question : Could realtors use scheduling software?
My friends and I are developing some scheduling software.
Basically, a customer could go online and schedule an appointment to see a house or houses.
Would this work for a realtor? Why or why not?

You wouldn’t be the first. We get bombarded with “opportunities” like this all of the time. It’s a good idea, but beware you are entering a saturated market.

No, not for me.

1. I’m not going to run out to show a house to some faceless internet person that I have no agreement with.
2. Appointments have to be at the convenience of the seller as well as the buyer.
3. I see potential for abuse by pranksters and thieves.

They could, where I live most realtors sites have booking/scheduling software. It’s pretty common, so your software should be exceptional and go above and beyond in features, so that you aren’t turned down too many times.

I think they want to talk to people first. They have to sell themselves before they can sell property.

We DO receive SPAM constently! Your best bet is to develope it and then schedule meetings with your local brokers and demo it at their sales meetings. Bring them all donuts and you’ll get their attention. We listen for food!
