Question : From Minnesota moving to California what can i expect?
Lived in MN all 19 years of my life, never left. Next semester I am transfering to San Jose State.. im so nervous. Whats the difference between MN and Cali?

You will love it! San Jose very nice city. Very casual. Warm, lots of traffic. Can walk around campus or bike. Have you rented a room, yet? Don’t need heavy weather clothes. Mostly jeans, tee shirts, sneakers or flip flops. No nylons. Shorts, etc. Jackets or sweaters for cool days. Cute sun dresses or shorts outfits for dates in summer & fall.. Not far from the ocean or the mountains. Can be rainy & cool in the winter. My son went there.

My husband went to San Jose State many years ago – he was also from MN (in fact, we just returned from a week’s visit to the Twin Cities). San Jose is a wonderful city/town with lots to see & do. I know you will love it! It’s also close to so many things – San Francisco, Big Sur, Carmel, Santa Cruz, & Monterey. You’ll never be bored!
And best of all? No snow, but you can get to the snow if you really miss it!
