Question : Anyone have recommendations on how to choose ( wisely) a vacation spot in panama city, destin florida?
hello, we ( 2 couples) are seeking a quiet beachfront condo or rental property in the panama city, dustin, ft walton beach areas.. would like to book something the first week of sept…. we need space for 2 couples, a 2 bdrm etc… beachfront is key.. we found several spots on craiglist/rentals, but the level of spam was outrageous as the posters had the same properties and used the same pics! im very skeptical about who and where to do business now as the spam is of some phony bait n switch tactics….. im just looking for advice on how to get a legit deal for a place to rent on the beach! thanks! all areas panama city, destin, walton beach….. etc… thanks!

Do not book anything on Craig’s List. For a listed of trusted area sites and companies visit http://www.destinvacationdeals.com. I recommend using a company because I have heard 100s of horror stories from people looking to save a few bucks using CL. If you are seeking quiet I would check out South Walton or the east side of Destin. Good luck!
