What would be a good option for a second income?

Question : What would be a good option for a second income?
I currently work in human resources for an offshore service company in South Louisiana and make roughly 45K per year. I’m in need of a second source of income, in order to save more. My talents lie in working with people, writing, extremely positive minded, good business sense, motivational speaking, etc. I have previously attempted home base business and ended up overextending myself. I have a knack for seeing the “big picture” of business more than specific details.

All thoughts or recommendations are appreciated.

Maybe you could make money by motivating people. You could set a business by appointments. Charge them by hour. People can come to talk to you for guidance. But so you don’t “overextend’ yourself, since it’s a part time job, limit yourself to a max amount of hours or days a week.

Why don’t you get a part time job at another company,(lowes, homedepot, target, etc..)you can work weekends there also. you might not make alot of money but it least its something.

Setup a website…where people can ask you questions abt HR poilicies and practices..and you can charge them based on time/question.

I do mortgage notaries on the side for $ 200 a signing- Its awesome- I drive to people’s houses – have them sign a bunch f stuff and get paid stupidly great amounts of money.

Start by getting your notary license. Super easy!
