After coming home from your disney vacation, how much weight did you gain?

Question : After coming home from your disney vacation, how much weight did you gain?
I am just wondering, becuase when i come home from disney, I usually gain a lot of weight from the lovely and fatning resturaunts they have! How much weight did you gain?

After my last Disney World trip (December 2009), I gained seven pounds! But, when considering I do not eat breakfast at home and that I ate breakfast every day while I was on vacation, that would do it! Also, we were on the dining plan and had dessert with almost every meal and I pigged out at each meal, so that was a bunch of extra calories as well. I’m going again next month and I expect to come home with extra weight again, but it will totally be worth it!

I do gain weight after vacation. I cannot say no to all the food there, and while we do walk a lot it is not a power walking so it does not make us burn calories. Also drinks is a reason to gain as well, all the refills at hotel alone cover daily need calories.

We split most entrees and desserts as they are huge, and with all the walking, we never gain weight at all. Splitting entrees allows us to sample all the snackie foods around the park without feeling over full and it helps keep the pounds off and we still get to snack. good luck

I’ve been to Disney 17x and I have never come home with extra weight on me. I usually go all out when I’m on vacation, too and have horrible eating habits. I guess I just spend enough time and energy walking around the parks and campground to burn off what I eat.

Disney does offer healthy meals, and even Vegetarian meals. Not everything served at Disney is fried, greasy, unhealthy for youor should cause you to gain weight.

i find that i don’t gain or loose any weight cuz there is a good balance of eating and walking that what ever i eat is walked off by the end of the day.
and i definitely agree they have some great food

Haha good question, this year me and my family get free main course, than a free dessert, (were we can get more than one) and were there for like a week and a half, so we are probly going to gain 50 lb by the time we get home! Haha

Haha, that’s true XD. I’ve never gained any though, because I tend to avoid eating there since their burgers are like six dollars.
