Question : Is Destin the best beach in Florida?
For College graduation my bf is taking me to Florida for vacation in Aug. We wanted to stay on the Gulf Coast because we heard the beaches are gorgeous there. We want to go para-sailing, deep sea fishing, shopping, and just laying around on the beach. Is Destin beach the best to go to or do you suggest another beach?

..can’t argue with that.The beaches of the Emerald coast of Florida are THE “Worls Most beautiful beaches”.
Destin is the best beach in the US! It was actually voted one of the top 5 just this year in Southern Living Magazine. August is a good time to come. The water temperature in the Gulf is 80 degrees. It feels like bath water. The sand is cool and soft even on the hottest days. Everything you mentioned you want to do is easy to do in Destin.
