Question : Help!!!!! The wife and I need an evening away from the kids…..?
It’s not that bad, but we’ve been Atlanta for about 6 months. Between getting settled in, remodeling the house and the usual activities of raising a family, we’ve not gone out for adult fun in a while. Can some please suggest some fun activities/areas in the Atlanta metro area that might be of interest?
We’re in our 40′s and enjoy a variety of things. So an area with shops, restaurants and overall lots going on would be great!!

There’s a place in Buckhead that has an outside deck & sells great chicken wings – can’t remember the name of it. Might be the Wing Factory or Mo Joe’s .

PUB71 in Brookhaven.
Best Irish Pub in all of metro Atlanta.
Great food of high quality at a reasonable price which is important since you have kids.
Awesome service from a staff that makes you feel like a regular and a part of the family even upon your first visit.
Live music with no cover charge.
Comfortable outdoor patio to dine outside on a nice day or night.This place makes for a great time out, without breaking the bank.
Also, one of Atlanta’s best brunches served on Saturday and Sunday with half-priced bottles of wine all day every Sunday.
Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

I enjoy going to atlantic station. There is alot to do there, shopping, a huge variety of resturants to eat at and its very upscale. Periodically they also have special events, like they had a Cirque Solei show set up. Is your into a slightly more indie/artsy thing I would recommend the little five points area. Its my favorite place in Atlanta and the Vortex there has the best burgers ever. Try the elvis burger, its way better then it sounds

There is a company that has a lot of ceramic pottery and you can come in and paint it and leave it overnight and they will fire it for you.
You can bring your own wine/ beer to their location.Dad’s Garage has great improv comedy.
Fernbank has their Martinis & IMAX nights. They have wine, cocktails, entrees and appetizers and after that a movie (like dinner and a movie at the same location).

Atlantic station is very nice. Go to the Fox Sport Grill and get a nice hotel room in one of the many hotels in the area. You can shop and just enjoy eachother.
